TAXI OPERATORS ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

Police are investigating the armed-robbery of two taxi drivers in the early hours of Monday morning.

“At about 12:30 a.m. on the 25th of May, two armed masked men entered the taxi stand at Frigate Bay just next to the Marriott Hotel, and robbed two taxi drivers who were in the stand, of their cell phones and a sum of money,” Police Public Press and Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell said on Tuesday.

“They made their escape.  The Police responded, but to date no one [has] been arrested,” Henry said.

The taxi stand is just a few hundred yards away from the Frigate Bay Police Station.

Yet the criminals were able to complete their task of robbing the hard working taxi drivers and get away without a scratch or a warning... when are we going too get serious about crime in the federation... we all have a part too play and we need to stand up for what's right, right now!

  1. I agree, the police are very very slow at responding to calls in Frigate Bay. I too had to call them for an incident that was less serious and they never showed up to take a report I ended up having to go to them and then it took another week to get the situation taken care of. I spoke with 4 different police officers and/or clerks and got 4 different stories as to what would be done before the situation was ever taken care of.

Get your property inspected. Once that special looker becomes a potential buyer, your house is going to come under scrutiny. Inspectors will be out to check for all sorts of things, and it will be best if you know what to expect.
